One of the many reasons to visit Zimbabwe
Victoria Falls – One of the natural wonders of the world and probably the most impressive waterfall you will ever see.  The nearby area is full of activities, including one of the highest bungy jumps in the world.  Great Zimbabwe – The second greatest stone structure in Africa is still a mystery.  The fate of the powerful cultural who built this now-deserted city is still the subject of academic debate.  Hwange – A large and well-populated reserve that is also the oldest in the country, Hwange offers visitors a view of the real African Wildlife and landscape as well as first-class accommodation. Lake Kariba – One of the continent’s greatest lakes, but one which was man-made, this vast area of water, recreation and wildlife has a long and successful history of conservation – apart from being a prime tourist venue.  Gonarezhou – One of the first protected areas in the world to involve the local population in a proactive role, this reserve has been an example to conservation programes everywhere and is part of the transfrontier park (Gonarezhou, Kruger, Limpopo).  Bulawayo and Matopos – Not only is this town a monument to the colonial period, it is also situated in the region that is rich in the history of man and nature.

Eastern Highlands – This scenic, rural setting offers mountains and streams where hiking and fishing, especially for bass and trout, are popular pursuits.  Cultural art – Recognized internationally as one of the centers of Africa tribal art, there are many archaeological sites with exceptional cave paintings all across the country.  Harare – A thriving capital with modern facilities but a distinctly African ambience, this city is still a prime tourist attraction for its sport and entertainment venues.  It is also a perfect place to start exploring the rest of the country. Zambezi escarpment – The northern reserves and safari areas bordering Lake Kariba and the Zambezi River are prim game-viewing locations that also offer great accommodation and guided tours in a perfect natural setting.
